Shipping & Delivery
Delivery Area
NUMA currently provides delivery within Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) only.
At this time, we do not offer shipping outside Toronto & GTA.
This allows us to maintain reliable delivery service and provide professional furniture assembly.
Free Delivery & Assembly
Orders with a product subtotal of $500 CAD or more (before HST tax) qualify for:
• Free delivery
• Free professional assembly
Important:
The $500 threshold applies to the product price before HST (13%) is added.
Example:
Product price: $490
HST (13%): $63.70
Total: $553.70
This order does not qualify for free delivery because the product subtotal is below $500.
Delivery Fees
Orders below $500 CAD (before tax):
Delivery fee: $99 CAD
Professional assembly service:
Assembly fee: $149 CAD
Delivery Requirements
Customers must ensure the following conditions are met at the delivery location:
• safe access to the building
• elevator access if required
• sufficient space for delivery
• legal parking for the delivery vehicle
If paid parking is required, parking fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Assembly Scope
Professional assembly includes standard assembly of the purchased furniture item.
Assembly service includes:
• unpacking the product
• assembling the furniture according to manufacturer instructions
• placement of the furniture in the delivery room
• removal of packaging materials
Assembly service does not include:
• wall mounting
• installation of hardware into walls or ceilings
• electrical work
• removal of existing furniture
• disposal of old furniture unless agreed in advance.
Furniture Fit Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that purchased furniture will fit through doorways, hallways, staircases, and elevators before placing an order.
If delivery cannot be completed because the furniture does not fit through the building access points, the order may be treated as a return and delivery and assembly service fees may apply.
Missed Delivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to customer absence or access issues, the order may need to be rescheduled and an additional delivery fee may apply.
Refused Delivery
If a customer refuses delivery after the order has already been dispatched or delivered to the address, the order may be treated as a return.
In this case, the following service fees may be deducted from the refund:
• delivery fee ($99)
• assembly fee ($149) if assembly was scheduled or completed
Additional return transportation costs may also apply.
Delivered but Not Received
If tracking or delivery confirmation shows that an order has been successfully delivered, the order is considered fulfilled.
If you believe your package or delivery is missing, you must contact NUMA within 48 hours of the recorded delivery time so we can open an investigation.
We may request additional information such as:
• confirmation of the delivery address
• photos of the delivery location (if applicable)
• any information required by the delivery carrier
Refunds or replacements may only be issued once the delivery investigation has been completed.
Product Inspection at Delivery
Customers are encouraged to inspect the product at the time of delivery.
Any visible damage should be reported within 48 hours.
